The µDrop is comprised of a 16 microliter-scale plate which can examine the sample of 2 µL simultaneously and can also be used to analyze purity of the samples.
The µDrop Plate featuring a fixed light path directly calculates the DNA or RNA samples concentrations.
Thermo Fisher said users can detect double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) by using few micrograms to few milligrams per milliliter without dilutions.
The µDrop Plate is also equipped with a standard rectangular cuvette comprising a cuvette slot for endpoint, spectral and kinetic measurements.
Thermo Fisher has introduced the µDrop Plate to be used with its Multiskan GO UV/Vis microplate and cuvette spectrophotometer and Varioskan Flash spectral scanning multimode reader.
