The spacious, new facility – at 1,300 square meters in size – allows for the storage and distribution of a wide range of clinical trial materials with special requirements and conditions for storage, as well as distribution.
The new location is one of several Worldwide Clinical Trials depots located in Russia, Georgia and Ukraine.
"Our new depot allows us to further increase our capacity in clinical trial materials handling in Russia and the former CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States)," said Natalia Krupinina, director of Depot & Logistics Services for Worldwide Clinical Trials.
"The additional storage and distribution space at this new, modern facility will allow us to extend our services, enabling clinical trials in a geographical region offering considerable advantages for patient accrual and retention."
Having successfully operated in Russia for more than 25 years, the new St. Petersburg depot location demonstrates Worldwide Clinical Trials’ commitment to the region and to the continued development of its clinical trials business internationally.
Worldwide’s strong depot and logistics operations have helped the company become one of the most experienced and reliable contract research organizations (CROs) in Russia and the former CIS.
