The labs are designed against the highest safety and environmental standards and are equipped with latest technologies to enable Polpharma efficiently scale-up developed APIs to the recently expanded small scale GMP API manufacturing facility and pilot plant.

The laboratories are equipped with the latest state-of-art process development and validation equipment; the capability to realise at a very small scale hydrogenation and amidation reactions in fully safe mode within a standard building enclosure. In addition the realisation of the laboratories in the same working environment of R&D Pharma development laboratories will enhance the cooperation between the different company business units to shorten the overall development timeline. Thanks to this last investment Polpharma can claim to be in the fore-front in API development from a regional leader to a global player.
