scientific network to key players of academia, industry and international organizations to further improve its position within the global biopharmaceutical market. Prof. Dr. Treffenfeldt is a member of the "BioEconomy Research and Technology Council" supporting the German government in defining and implementing a strategy to establish a biobased economy. In addition Prof. Dr. Treffenfeldt is active in numerous other national and international scientific committees and advisory boards.
