INC Research Continues to Grow Alliance Partnership Team with Bruce Wakeman

INC Research, LLC., a therapeutically focused contract research organization (CRO) with a process for delivering reliable results, has appointed Bruce Wakeman as vice president of Alliance Development who is based in the United States. Wakeman has leveraged his
therapeutic and strategic alliance experience to further expand INC Research’s clinical delivery alliance services that address customers’ wide-ranging needs.

"Bruce is an excellent addition to our growing Alliance Partnership team as he understands the value that CROs can bring to different clinical delivery models," said Alistair Macdonald, executive vice president, Strategic Development. "Our growth and commitment in this arena is certainly an indication of the level of interest and activity from drug developers."

Wakeman joins INC Research with more than 15 years of CRO and drug development experience. His CRO experience spans proposal and contract development, clinical operations and senior level business development responsibilities. Prior to joining INC Research Wakeman was vice president, US Business Development for Premier Research, a global CRO, which focused in the central nervous system, oncology and pediatric drug development areas. In this role, he was responsible for corporate marketing,
business development strategy and implementation, leading the U.S.-based business development team and interacting directly with clients to build preferred and strategic alliances. Wakeman has been successful building strategic relationships across the industry spectrum, including virtual biotechs to some of the industry’s largest pharmaceutical companies. He received a BS in Business Management from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
