The MRN, which recently developed a strategic partnership with World Courier focusing on patient-centric health solutions, has added six new professionals to its expanding team.
In the company’s UK headquarters in Milton Keynes, the new starters include: Dalbir Gill (Business Development Executive); Louise Spencer (Research Nurse Manager); Jo Carter (Project Manager) Clair Josephs (Training Manager); Adrienne Bryce (Quality Manager); and Karen Galbraith (Accounts, Purchase Ledger & VCMT Invoice Reconciliation). Meanwhile, in MRN’s US office in Skokie, Illinois, Katherine Page joins as Research Nurse Manager.
Dr Graham Wylie, CEO of MRN, believes the new recruits are the first fruits of the new partnership with World Courier. He says: "Our new professionals join us at a very exciting time for The MRN as we experience a period of rapid expansion following the successful signing of our partnership with World Courier.
"We have further plans to expand both our UK and US offices, and with the potential to leverage World Courier’s local presence in more than 50 markets globally, we look forward to expanding our global reach in community-based trials."
Established in 2006, the MRN is the world’s leading provider of home healthcare for patients in clinical trials. Taking the trial to the patient makes participation more convenient and appealing for the patients and boosts recruitment rates considerably (from 60% upwards). This ease of participation also significantly improves patient retention, consistently above 95%.
