Medical Research Network Goes for Transatlantic Expansion

Yvonne Pella joins MRN as Vendor Contracts Associate in the company’s Skokie, IL office in the US, whilst Yasmine Alam joins MRN as a project manager at its UK headquarters in Milton Keynes.

On joining MRM, Yvonne says: "Not only is MRN a growing company that invests in is staff, but it is at the forefront of innovation; the services it provides improve the lives of people participating in clinical trials as well as the quality of the data collected in these studies. I wanted to be part of this working environment, and I’m looking forward to being part of a team that is expanding throughout the US."

Yasmine Alam joins MRN’s Milton Keynes headquarters as a project manager.

Yasmine has over 17 years’ experience in senior positions within clinical research, operations, project management and business development. She has worked with global pharmaceutical companies, CROs and in both the primary and secondary healthcare arenas on both local and worldwide projects.

Yasmine says: "MRN is the perfect environment for me as it not only values its staff but offer them a challenging and interesting career. Having also worked in large pharma and global CROs, I look forward to being involved in an expanding organisation where my ideas and contributions can make a significant difference."

Dr Graham Wylie, CEO of MRN, believes the new recruits will add the perfect mixture of experience and new talent to the fast-growing company. He says: "As we offer up new service lines and solutions to our customers, it is important that we have the right people to deliver them. In Yasmine and Yvonne we have two highly capable individuals on either side of the Atlantic. We’re confident they will be able to push the company forward even further during 2015."

Established in 2006, the MRN is the world’s leading provider of home healthcare for patients in clinical trials. Taking the trial to the patient makes participation more convenient and appealing for the patients and boosts recruitment rates considerably (from 60% upwards). This ease of participation also significantly improves patient retention, consistently above 95%.
