Multipharma, a leader in worldwide comparator drug sourcing services of quality
assured pharmaceuticals for clinical trials, has expanded its operations with the opening of new
offices in Japan and Italy. With the addition of these two new facilities, the company has the
capability to offer its clients more sourcing options and to be present where clinical trials are being
conducted; in the geographical regions where clients need support.
To support the growth of clinical trials in Asia, Multipharma is now better positioned to handle the
challenges associated with importing and exporting pharmaceuticals throughout this emerging
region. By having a physical presence in the country and a team in place that knows the lay of the
land with established relationships in the pharmaceutical industry, Multipharma can effectively offer
its clients varied clinical trial supply sourcing options.
Over the years Multipharma has successfully procured pharmaceuticals throughout Europe and with
a physical presence in Italy, Multipharma now has the advantage of being able to offer its clients a
potential cost savings on clinical trial supplies of approximately 30%. This strategic expansion
supports one of Multipharma’s main deliverables of service, which is being able to offer competitive
pricing with no prepayment requirements.
