Supported by research grants from Sanofi (Milan, Italy) and Bristol-Myers Squibb (Rome, Italy) the project has been fully managed by Pierrel Research.

Pierrel Research Italy has been responsible for the complete conduction and management of the study. In details, the data from 3.049 patients with ischemic and haemorrhagic stroke during the acute in-hospital phase and the 1-year follow-up has been collected and qualified using our HyperSuite®, a web-based eCRF platform.

The patients’ clinical data has been entered into HyperSuite® by the authorized centres’ staff and electronically signed by the Principal Investigators. All data stored into the trial data-base (Oracle®), once duly validated have been transferred into SAS® application and analysed by Pierrel Research statisticians.

Pierrel Research is proud of this important publication in ‘Cerebrovascular Diseases’, as the study results are of huge clinical relevance and will help in better understand the prognosis of patients with acute ischemic stroke – a benefit for all parties involved in the care for this vulnerable patient population. Ultimately, this achievement once more confirms Pierrel Research’s extensive and documented expertise in the management and analysis of ‘high quality data’ clinical trials.
