After a good business year in 2011, EnviroChemie start 2012 successfully

The number of employees in the group, which are made up primarily of engineers and water specialists, rose to 330 staff members. The profits are on target as well. Traditionally, EnviroChemie does not publish exact numbers. The Russian market, which has been important for EnviroChemie, strengthened significantly in 2011. The European and Western European markets and exports overseas also did well. Business increased particularly for compact systems and the new modular plant system EnviModul.

The decline in solar cell production weakened sales for water technology in the solar energy sector significantly. However, orders for water and wastewater treatment plants in the surface technology, glass and automotive sectors were able to make up for it quite well. Engineer capacities at the company’s main location, Rossdorf, were increased in order to successfully meet new challenges in modular and decentralised technologies. Investments in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Control and Programming allow all water and wastewater treatment plants to be equipped with control programs developed in house. The Westerburg location was equipped with a mechanised control cabinet manufacturing area.

At the beginning of 2012, the company secured orders from the meat industry in Russia and the cosmetics industry in Brazil. In addition to further developing the EnviModul decentralised water and wastewater technology, the strategic focus for the year 2012 is on the further development of services and on expanding the product portfolio for ecological and economically sensible water chemistry products.
