PureWeld XL contains no animal-derived contents that could leach into the duty fluid and is supplied with a full validation and extractables profile. This is a key feature of PureWeld XL and one that ensures Watson-Marlow’s customers are guaranteed a high level of purity and clarity wherever the tube is deployed. PureWeld also demonstrates very low internal spallation, as well as long life compared to other weldable tubes used in peristaltic pumps.

Ideally suited to use in hygienic environments in pharmaceutical and biotechnology processing, PureWeld XL is used in a wide range of applications from research to production including cell media and fermentation, sterile filling and dispensing, , vaccine production, fluid transfer and filtration. PureWeld meets full bio-pharmaceutical testing standards including USP Class IV FDA CFR 177.1810 and European Pharmacopoeia certification.

PureWeld XL is manufactured in an ISO14644-1 Class 10,000 cleanroom at Watson-Marlow’s state-of-the-art UK-based production facility.
