news.C R Bard, a medical technology company, has appointed Jim Beasley as its new group vice president with responsibility for the Bard Access Systems and Bard Peripheral Vascular divisions, effective May 1, 2009.

Mr Beasley has joined Bard in 1989 and advanced through the sales and marketing organizations prior to being promoted to president of Bard Access Systems in 2003 and president of Bard Peripheral Vascular in 2007.
In addition to his new responsibilities as group vice president, Mr Beasley will continue to serve as president of Bard Peripheral Vascular.
