Pfizer lost patient protection on Zoloft last year. Zoloft is a drug designed to treat patients with depression and anxiety.
Teva filed the complaints in the US District Courts of New Jersey, Delaware, Southern District New York, and Maryland for infringement of its three of its patents. Teva did not name the companies it is suing.
Teva still has outstanding litigation relating to the generic versions of Allegra, Neurontin and Wellbutrin XL.
