Digirad names new president and CEO

Digirad, a provider of diagnostic nuclear and ultrasound imaging systems and services, has appointed Todd Clyde as its new president and CEO.

Mr Clyde replaces Mark Casner, who resigned as president, CEO and director of the company to pursue new business opportunities. Mr Clyde has been CFO since November 2002 and will continue in that position in an interim capacity until a new CFO is appointed.

Prior to joining Digirad, Mr Clyde held senior finance and accounting positions at Verance, I-Bus/Phoenix and Ernst & Young. Mr Clyde holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting and a masters of accountancy from Brigham Young University.

King Nelson, chairman of board of directors at Digirad, said: “We are pleased to announce the appointment of Todd Clyde as president and CEO. His experience in our market and detailed understanding of the company make him the perfect fit to lead Digirad, as we continue to execute on our centers of influence and other key programs with a new focus on profitability and positive cash flow. We also thank Mark for his leadership and many contributions to Digirad during his tenure as CEO.”
