Zimmer Holdings names new president of reconstructive operations

Zimmer Holdings, a developer and marketer of reconstructive orthopaedic implants, has appointed Jeffery McCaulley as the president of Zimmer Reconstructive.

Mr McCaulley will have responsibility for the company’s activities in the reconstructive devices market, including global marketing and sales in the Americas. He will report to David Dvorak, Zimmer Holdings president and CEO.

Mr McCaulley most recently served as president and CEO of the health division of Wolters Kluwer, the provider of scientific information and workflow solutions for healthcare professionals, providers, payors and the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer in 2004, he served three years as vice president and general manager of the diabetes division of Medtronic.

Mr Dvorak said: “Jeff has a tremendous background from a variety of health care settings and has established an outstanding record for building businesses. The reconstructive category represents the great majority of our annual revenues and the market is expected to remain a growth opportunity given the aging of the population and other societal factors.

“We are excited to have Jeff apply his skills and experiences to our effort to build momentum and long-term leadership in reconstructive devices.”
