Alphatec Spine names new VP and general manager of Europe

Mr Kohlbecher, who will be based in Germany, fills this newly created position to oversee all of Alphatec Spine’s European operations. Mr Kohlbecher will be responsible for directing and overseeing Alphatec Spine’s marketing and sales expansion in Europe, including efforts to secure experienced spine product distributors that will exclusively sell the company’s products, as well as building relationships with key medical opinion leaders in Europe and helping to manage post-market clinical studies in Europe.

Mr Kohlbecher will also assist in business development activities related to identifying potential in-licensing activities that will augment the company’s spinal product portfolio.
