Caldera Medical signs licensing agreement with Coloplast

Caldera Medical has entered into a license agreement with Coloplast that provides Caldera Medical with rights to patents related to the transobturator method for the treatment of female stress urinary incontinence.

The agreement allows Caldera Medical access to the transobturator method for the surgical treatment of stress incontinence. The agreement also allows Caldera Medical to protect the uniqueness of the company’s proprietary products and to continue developing novel technology for the growing global women’s health market.

Bryon Merade, CEO of Caldera Medical, said: “Securing this important license allows Caldera Medical to fully exploit a wide range of development opportunities. We look forward to utilizing the transobturator method in our continued pursuit of best-in-class treatment options.”
