news.LCA-Vision, a provider of laser vision correction services, has appointed Edgar Heizer, III, to its board of directors, bringing total board membership to six, including five independent directors.

Mr Heizer previously was partner at the full-service law firm Gardner, Carton & Douglas. Mr Heizer is chairman and former CEO of Manus Health Systems, a multi-site dental-care provider. Mr Heizer also currently serves as principal of Coral SR LLC/Heizer Capital, a management and investment firm.
