The agreement provides for exclusive territory distribution in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, and Pennsylvania. The territory outside the US includes Mexico, Caribbean Countries, Central and South America.
According to Topex, the SRT 100 system provides an alternative to surgery for treating basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas, especially for primary lesions requiring difficult or extensive surgery with sensitive structures in the head and neck regions – the fold in the nose, eyelids, lips, corner of the mouth and the lining of the ear that would otherwise lead to a poor cosmetic outcome.
John Vano, president of Radiology Oncology Systems (ROS), said: “We believe the Topex line will provide our customers an ability to provide superior patient care, cost-effectively, and we are excited to have the opportunity to introduce the product line to our customers and distributors in the US, Central and South America.”
