The immunotherapy reportedly helps allergy sufferers by building immunity to a wide variety of targeted allergens through the administration of low homeopathic concentrations of such allergens. Over time, this treatment may save money for allergy sufferers through decreased doctor visits, absences, medications, and complications by reducing allergic reactions, the company said.
To date, ProActive Remedies has brought to market the Allertherapy Pollen Mix medication, and anticipates releasing food, environment and combination mixes in spring 2008. ProActive’s Allertherapy line offers an assortment of features including multi-regional, multi-seasonal formulas, a variety of targeted allergens, reduced dependence upon allergy medications, including Allertherapy itself, over time.
