ASA forms joint venture with Denton Cancer Center

Ambulatory Services of America has announced the formation of Rosa of Denton, its fourth joint venture to provide outpatient radiation oncology services. Rosa of Denton is a joint venture between Denton Cancer Center and ASA's subsidiary, Radiation Oncology Services of America.

Rosa of Denton will own and operate a radiation therapy facility in Denton, Texas that was previously owned and operated by Denton Cancer Center.

Rosa of Denton will offer state-of-the-art cancer treatment services, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) in the Denton center. The joint venture expects to build on Denton Cancer Center’s legacy of providing high-quality cancer care to the residents of the north Dallas area. Tahir Rana will serve as medical director for Rosa of Denton.

Timothy Martin, president and CEO of Ambulatory Services of America (ASA), said: “We are excited about the continued growth of our radiation therapy business and our partnership with Dr Rana and Denton Cancer Center. We look forward to providing excellent care for cancer patients in Denton and the north Dallas area and to working with Dr Rana to promote the growth and success of Rosa of Denton.”
