Patheon establishes Japanese subsidiary

Patheon KK will operate from a newly established business office located in the Nihonbashi district of central Tokyo and will support Patheon’s business requirements in the region.

Patheon has said that local staff will be added to the Tokyo office to fulfill the company’s growing Asian business development and service support requirements.

Wes Wheeler, president and CEO of Patheon, said: “This provides Patheon with a permanent presence in Japan to target new customers and support existing ones in Japan and other Asian markets. It demonstrates our commitment to build on our existing customer base in this very important region.”
