news.CytRx, a biopharmaceutical R&D company, has appointed John Caloz as its new CFO. Mr Caloz replaces former CFO Mitchell Fogelman who resigned for personal reasons.

Mr Caloz joined CytRx in October 2007 and has served as the company’s chief accounting officer. Prior to joining CytRx, he served as CFO of publicly traded Occulogix from 2005 to 2006 and CFO of publicly traded Iris International, a manufacturer of medical devices.
Mr Caloz earned his accounting degree from York University, Toronto, Canada and is a chartered accountant.
