news.Nutrition 21, a provider of chromium picolinate-based and omega-3 fish oil-based supplements, has appointed Michael Zeher as its new president and CEO and as a member of the board.

Mr Zeher most recently served as president and CEO of Nutritional Laboratories International. Prior to joining Nutritional Labs, Mr Zeher was president and COO of Pharmaceutical Formulations.
Mr Zeher is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration.
John Gutfreund, chairman of the board of directors at Nutrition 21, said: “Mike’s extensive experience in the nutritional supplement industry will enable him to set a clear course for the company in the future. Under his leadership, the board fully expects that the company will enjoy renewed growth, both in revenues and in profits.”
