Mr Lonner was appointed to fill a vacant board position with a term that expires in 2011. His election brings the company’s board to eight members.
Mr Lonner has been group president, CEO and a board member of Meda, a specialty pharmaceutical company, since 1999. Prior to joining Meda, Mr Lonner was vice president of Nordic region for Astra and then CEO of KaroBio. He also was the former head of the Association for Pharmaceutical Companies in Sweden.
