Generex Biotechnology wins new drug delivery patent

Generex Biotechnology, a provider of drug delivery systems and technologies, has received a new patent in Australia.

The Australian Patent Office has granted the company a patent that contains formulation and method claims to a pharmaceutical formulation comprising a macromolecular pharmaceutical agent in mixed micellar form, and metered dose device containing said formulation, for buccal administration.

Generex currently holds an aggregate of 128 patents worldwide and has an aggregate of 134 patent applications pending in various jurisdictions.
