news.TomoTherapy Incorporated, a provider of radiation therapy systems treatment of a wide variety of cancers, has signed a letter of intent with Hitachi Medical to distribute the Hi Art cancer treatment system in Japan.

Terms of the agreement between TomoTherapy and Hitachi Medical are being finalized. Details will be announced upon contract signing. The partnership between TomoTherapy and Hitachi Medical is expected to commence by the end of 2008.
