Mr Emerson was most recently president and CEO of American Medical Systems. He will be replacing Chen Barir, who will continue to serve on the Galil Medical board of directors.
Chen Barir, former CEO of Galil Medical, said: “We are confident that Marty will be able to help Galil Medical sustain the growth that has been recorded since our December 2006 reorganization and recapitalization financing.”
