Alsius wins three-year GPO contract from Novation

Alsius, a developer of intravascular temperature management therapies, has received a three-year contract from Novation, a healthcare contracting services company, to provide intravascular temperature management products to Novation's extensive network of over 2,500 member hospitals. The agreement will be effective on January 1, 2009.

Bill Worthen, president and CEO of Alsius, said: “This is the sixth contract that we have been awarded by a major hospital group purchasing organization (GPO) in the US, further validating the adoption and growing industry support for our innovative technology.”
