news.PerkinElmer, a provider of technology, services and solutions to the diagnostics, detection and analysis and photonics markets, has appointed Achim Leoprechting as its new vice president and general manager of cellular imaging and analysis solutions.

In this role, Dr Leoprechting will be responsible for driving the cellular imaging business for PerkinElmer.
Prior to his new appointment, Dr Leoprechting was the European sales director within the company’s bio-discovery business element, where he led growth in instrument and reagent sales. Dr Leoprechting has received his PhD in biology from Albert-Ludwigs-University, Freiburg, Germany.
