Bristol-Myers Squibb names new senior vice president and CPO

US-based Bristol-Myers Squibb has appointed Quentin Roach as its new senior vice president and chief procurement officer.

Prior to joining Bristol-Myers Squibb, Mr Roach was vice president of global customer strategy and process management at Bausch & Lomb where he also led the company’s global customer strategy steering committee.

Mr Roach holds a Master of Science degree in engineering from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, and a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana.

Carlo Notaristefani, president of technical operations at Bristol-Myers, said: “As we transition Bristol-Myers Squibb to a next-generation BioPharma model, Quentin will play a key role in continuing to maximize the strategic value that procurement can deliver to the company.”
