The taste of liquid remedies or the sight of pills often send children burrowing beneath their covers and can be messy or difficult for children to take. Children’s PediaCare Medicated Freezer Pops, however, provide parents with an easy new way to give their children cough relief, lasting up to eight hours.
Many over-the-counter children’s medicines offer cough and cold relief, but include ingredients such as fever reducers, which can mask an infection or other conditions but Medicated Freezer Pops contain no fever reducers and are alcohol-free.
“Most children typically have anywhere from six to ten colds per year, and parents often have trouble choosing an effective medicine that their children will tolerate,” says Dr Marilu Thordsen-Velez, of Tri-County Pediatrics in Georgia. “New Medicated Freezer Pops will make it easier for parents to effectively relieve their children’s cough symptoms without delivering unnecessary medication.”
PediaCare Medicated Freezer Pops are available in two flavors, Glacier Grape and Polar Berry Blue. Each carton contains eight individual pops that can be stored in the freezer or, if needed, can be taken in their liquid state.
