news.etrials Worldwide, a provider of adaptive eClinical software and services, has appointed Denis Connaghan as its new president and CEO.

Mr Connaghan replaces Chuck Piccirillo, etrials’s vice president of technology, who has served as interim president and CEO since July 10, 2008. Mr Piccirillo will resume his position as vice president of technology.
Most recently Mr Connaghan served as managing director within Marsh USA’s global operations responsible for global operations and global IT program management offices. Mr Connaghan holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.
