Horizon Therapeutics, a late-stage biopharmaceutical company, has appointed Robert De Vaere as its new executive vice president and CFO.

Mr De Vaere’s most recent position was as senior vice president, finance and administration and CFO of IDM Pharma, a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of innovative products that activate the immune system to treat cancer.
Additionally, Mr De Vaere served as vice president, finance and administration and CFO of IDM Pharma from August 2005 to March 2006, and was vice president and CFO of Epimmune from May 2000 until the business combination with IDM Pharma in August 2005.
Mr De Vaere has also served as CFO of Nexa Orthopedics, which was acquired by Tornier, and vice president of finance and administration and CFO of Vista Medical Technologies, a medical device company.
