This agreement expands InteGreat’s existing agreement with Nuance, giving InteGreat the ability to provide its clients with Dragon Medical 10, a real-time medical speech recognition software.
Dragon Medical 10 is a real-time speech recognition application that provides physicians with the ability to dictate in their own words, generating ‘once and done’ documentation which they can dictate, edit, and review in succession. Dragon Medical can recognize speech with up to 99% accuracy out-of-the-box, and includes specialized medical vocabularies covering nearly 80 specialties and subspecialties.
Jay Anders, chief medical information officer of MED3OOO, said: “The agreement continues our ability to provide speech recognition applications for our electronic health record (EHR) clients. The full version capabilities of Dragon Medical will help our physician clients reduce transcription costs and expand the use of their existing EHRs, while allowing clinical documentation to be in the physician’s own words.”
