CVS Caremark names new executive vice president and chief medical officer

In this newly created role, Dr Brennan will assume responsibility for the company’s MinuteClinic, Accordant Health Care, clinical and medical affairs, and health care strategy. Most recently, Dr Brennan served as chief medical officer for Aetna.

Dr Brennan has his MD and MPH from Yale Medical School, a JD from Yale Law School and a masters degree from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes scholar. Dr Brennan graduated with a BS from Southern Methodist University in Texas.
