news.Momenta Pharmaceuticals, a biotechnology company, has appointed James Sulat, a member of the board of directors since June 2008, as its new chairman of the board.

Mr Sulat succeeds Peter Barrett, who is leaving the board after five years of service, including serving as chairman since June 2005.
Most recently, Mr Sulat served as the CFO and as a director of Memory Pharmaceuticals. Mr Sulat has received a BS in administrative sciences from Yale University, and an MBA and an MS in health services administration from Stanford University.
