SunTech launches new ambulatory blood pressure monitoring software

According to SunTech, its AccuWin Pro v3 software supports the company’s Oscar 2 ambulatory blood pressure monitor. The release offers various upgrades including new compatibility features for Windows Vista and integrated USB communications.

The software also includes new features to assist with the process of analyzing and reporting on ABPM procedures such as time-slice period highlighting, medications memory auto-fill, and pre-programmed thresholds incorporating ESH and JNC7/AHA recognized standards, the company added.

Allison Anderson, product manager at SunTech, said: “For example, the time-slice period function allows the physician to zero in on key windows of interest in a 24-hour period to identify specific events such as morning surge and overnight variability, both key indicators for guiding the proper treatment of hypertension.”
