Lakewood launches new gastrointestinal diagnostic services

Lakewood’s national gastrointestinal (GI) services were developed using Next Level Diagnostics, which are enhanced procedures and processes inserted throughout the testing process to ensure the highest level of quality, service and innovation is achieved.

The offering features customized GI reports with embedded color photomicrographs to enable ‘at-a-glance’ comprehension of results. Its enhanced connectivity options support the national movement to electronic health records (EHR) by allowing gastroenterologists to easily access information through direct interfaces with EHR.

Lakewood said that the new suite of services marks another significant step in the company’s transformation from a regional laboratory into a national anatomic pathology leader, offering a range of specialized services.
