news.Sweden-based cosmetic ingredients manufacturer AAK will launch a new skin care ingredient Lipex AvoButte, derived from avocado oil and shea butter.

The company said the formulation will be platformed at in-cosmetics event, to be held in Barcelona, Spain next month, according to cosmeticsdesign-europe.com.
AAK’s new ingredient is used in skin care formulations, along with hair care products and facial masks.
The main function of the formulation is that it combines the repairing characteristics of lipids with vitamin F, providing the skin with nutrient-rich properties to improve its overall quality.
AAK said the lipid comes in a semi-solid form and it melts on the skin slowly to provide continuous moisturizer properties.
