ACG Worldwide To Build Three New Manufacturing Facilities

With an investment of INR 4000m, in Shirwal, India

India-based ACG Worldwide has announced that it is planing to establish three new facilities at Shirwal, Pune, Maharashtra, India. The venture is expected to cost INR 4000m.

The company will set up a factory for fluid bed processor manufacturing under Pam Glatt Pharma Technologies; a second factory for tablet pressing under ACG Korsch and a third facility for capsule filling under PAM Pharmaceutical and Allied Machinery.

The new facility is expected to begin production in March 2010.

Qouted Pharmabiz, Ajith Singh, chairman of ACG Worldwide Group, saying: “The facility for Pam Glatt is expected to be ready for launching in eight months. All the three facilities will be launched in next two years. We will carry on the existing manufacturing operations in our Mumbai facility and the facilities at Shirwal will enable us to handle the excess production requirements.”

Additionally, the company had also established a new facility in the beginning of December 2009, for barrier packaging films. This Facility was build with an investment of INR 1000m at Shirwal.
