news.Specialty chemical company Albemarle Fine Chemistry Services (FCS) business is continuing expansion with the construction of another custom manufacturing facility in Tyrone, Pennsylvania.

The $30m expansion is expected to support the manufacturing projects, improve infrastructure at the site for future extension.
FCS business director David DeCuir said, "This expansion comes shortly after our earlier expansion that began operation in November 2012 and will fuel the continued growth of FCS’s custom manufacturing business."
The company expects the first increment of new capacity to be operational late in the first quarter of 2014.
