Alcon has selected Varicent Global Solution for sales performance management (SPM) across multiple geographic business units.

Alcon is expected to use Varicent for core commission calculation in addition to scenario modeling, providing enhanced visibility into Alcon’s current and future sales quotas.
Varicent is expected to help Alcon to develop analytics for forecasting, quota, modeling and targets. It will also provide business ownership of the application.
Additionally, Varicent will also be responsible for delivering information in the appropriate language for all users.
Alcon said that with Varicent, it will have better insight into how the sales force meets its quotas, helping it to optimise the structure of its sales forces around the world.
