A-Life Medical is releasing its new reconciliation solution, RecoverIt, that is expected to be launched during the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) 2009 Fall Educational Conference.

The company said that the new product is designed to automate and reconcile the charge capture process and is a scalable web-based tool. It maximizes revenue by appropriately reconciling all necessary data required for the healthcare reimbursement process.

According to A-Life, RecoverIt provides real-time visibility into the reconciliation process allowing outpatient medical billers to reconcile healthcare information that has been processed for reimbursement. It also offers complete coverage of all aspects of reconciliation using a platform based on five separate modules that focus on the beginning for the revenue cycle.

In addition, the new product expedites billing turnaround time and the recovery of unrealized reimbursement by identifying lost data and eliminating reconciliation errors such as those related to transcription and patient demographics.
