Anacor Pharma hires new SVP, CFO

Anacor Pharmaceuticals has named Geoffrey Parker as the new senior vice president and chief financial officer of the company, who will responsible for managing the company’s finance operations as well as its business development and investor relations functions.

Parker worked as a consultant to Anacor Pharma from December 2009 to his current appointment as chief financial officer.

From July 2009 to July 2010, Parker served in a consulting capacity as the chief business officer of InteKrin Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company in Los Altos, California.
