Axxess Pharma said that Fortex drug is indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation of musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis and muscle soreness.
As per a license agreement, Axxess Pharma is expected to have sole rights to manufacture and market the prescription drug in Canada.
Further, Fortex is expected to be prescribed by rheumatologists, orthopedic surgeons, general practitioners and pharmacists throughout Canada.
Additionally, in July 12, 2010, Axxess Pharma also informed about its signing of an exclusive license agreement to manufacture and distribute an FDA approved high potency cough and cold capsule in Canada and Middle East.
