Integrated Genomics names new president and CEO

Integrated Genomics, a provider of bioinformatics products and services for the life sciences industry, has appointed Jonathan Sheridan as its new president and CEO, succeeding John Elling who will remain chairman of the board.

Prior to Integrated Genomics, Mr Sheridan was vice president of commercial operations at HTG where he was responsible for forming new business partnerships with pharmaceutical and life sciences companies, establishing research agreements with academic institutions, and managing the global commercial sales and marketing teams.

Mr Sheridan also held senior positions with PerkinElmer Life and Analytical Sciences, Epicentre Biotechnologies, Genomica, Lion Biosciences, PerkinElmer Cetus, Beckman Coulter, and Monsanto.

Dr Elling said: “Jonathan Sheridan is a proven executive with an exceptional blend of strategic, business and leadership skills. We are confident that he is the ideal person to sustain Integrated Genomics’s strong performance and lead the company in the next phase of its growth.”
