BDI’s portfolio includes branded and generic specialty pharmaceuticals, chemotherapy products, vaccines, albumin, IVIG, coagulation factors, high-titer or hyper immune globulins and other specialty injectables.
BDI IT VP Tim Larson said that as a solutions-based organisation with specialised initiatives requiring different levels of integration, it was paramount that BDI select a platform like SAP.
"Successful implementation of our Connect project will offer the company the greater efficiency, flexibility and capability necessary to meet our corporate goals," Larson said.
BDI executive vice president Tom Wood said that through careful analysis and a keen eye on their future, they, as a company, have decided that SAP provides the foundation on which they must build the next chapters of their business.
