Celerus names new vice president of sales and marketing

US-based Celerus Diagnostics has appointed Jason Lusk as its new vice president of sales and marketing.

According to the company, Mr Lusk will lead the national sales force, manage international distribution, and drive activities to market the Celerus Wave System, the first and only solution to deliver precise, standardized immunohistochemistry results in 15 minutes.

Most recently employed as regional sales manager with Leica Microsystems, Mr Lusk’s background includes positions in R&D, production, product development, global product management, direct sales, and as the leader of several top-producing sales and marketing teams.

Dave Gross, CEO of Celerus, said: “The addition of Mr Lusk reflects the response our system is receiving in the marketplace and progress we’ve made since our launch late last year.

“Celerus is already establishing a dominant position in rapid staining for various pathology applications. His extensive IVD background will serve Celerus very well, and subsequently our customers. His expertise in both immunohistochemistry products and applications is unparalleled.”
