Biocrates Life Sciences to launch metabolomics-based research kit

Austria-based metabolite metabolomics products maker Biocrates Life Sciences will launch the next edition of its research kit, AbsoluteIDQ p150, which can be used with Thermo Scientific's TSQ Vantage Triple Stage Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer.

AbsoluteIDQ p150 provides metabolic information from a single targeted assay, quantifying 158 metabolites using a FIA-MS/MS method.

The kit is infused with Biocrates proprietary MetIDQ software, which requires minute sample volumes (10 µL), and is suitable for researchers to use with a wide range of biological samples.

Using new kit, the researchers can measure endogenous metabolites under quality-controlled conditions in their own lab.

The AbsoluteIDQ kits by Biocrates have been applied in many different areas, including diabetes, nephrology, sepsis, and CNS disorders, in both clinical and pharmaceutical research.
